Community Pride
|
MISSION STATEMENT |
--- Admire Community Pride is dedicated to serving our local community and to encourage and assist local government and volunteers in making our community a better place to live. --- |
GENERAL INFORMATION |
Through the efforts of several community residents, a community Pride organization was formed in the Fall of 2007. Hopefully, the first impression of our community should be one that says "We are a town that cares, and yes, we have pride in our community." In the Spring of 2008, the Admire Community Pride joined the Kansas PRIDE Program. "The Kansas PRIDE Program is a volunteer, grassroots effort to improve the quality of life in local communities." "Through the Kansas PRIDE program, local communities identify what they would like to preserve, create, or improve for their future. Then, working with the resources of K-State Research & Extension and the Kansas Department of Commerce, community volunteers pull together to create their ideal community future."1 The Admire Community Pride needs you and your involvement with ideas, suggestions and comments. The Admire Community Pride is a 501(c)(3) entity. To make a tax deductible donation, please send payment addressed to the Admire Community Pride, 503 Main St., Admire, Kansas 66830 or follow the contact information listed below.© 1) Source - Kansas Pride Program website. |
